How Do You See You?

"I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one— I in them and You in Me—that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me." ~ John 17:22-23

I once heard it said, "if you saw you the way that He sees you, you'd be unstoppable."

I promptly wrote it out and taped it to the closet mirror door. It's long since sun bleach faded, but it still touches my heart.

So, I ask again...

How do you see you?

Today, I mean to offer one little kernel of thought. A seed perhaps?

You are loved by the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He put you together on purpose for a purpose. Do as unto Him, seeking His approval only.

Remember.

You know who you are and whose you are, I believe it to the core of my being, or you wouldn't be here.

Where is your identity found?

I know you know the answer.

Remember.

God sees you through the most epic filter of all time...

Through the perfection of the Savior.

SnapChat has nothing on your filter.

Your Heavenly Father knows the vast realms that are possible for you, with His help, if you're willing to step up and step into the vision He has called you to.

You belong to Him.

Remember.

He is with you, He will never leave you. By His strength, you are strong.

You have been chosen by Him.

Remember.

You have been chosen by Him for specific works.

You are beloved.

Remember.

You were created in HIS image.

You are capable. He has given you everything you need to do every good work.

Remember.

You are valued, just as you are. You have great worth in the eyes of your Heavenly Father... beyond birds, beyond flowers, beyond coins, beyond the reaches of your earthly imagination.

Remember.

Which reflection do you consider? Do you see yourself as the world sees you? Or, do you see yourself as the Father sees you? Do you see yourself through the ultimate filter of the Blood of the Lamb? Do you see yourself as the Word tells you you are?

Allow God's Truth to seep into your heart and mind and very be-ing.

Remember.

Yes, He created us for good works, but it is not good works that get us there.

Remember the gifts you've been given...

Then, give yourself one more.

Choose today and everyday, in every moment, to see yourself as the Creator of all creation sees you.

Father God,

As You told us in black and white, right there in Isaiah, thank You for helping us to know in our heart of hearts, deep down in our bones, that each of Your children is precious to you. Most especially, I pray for the person reading this now, that they would KNOW how precious they are in Your sight.

Thank You, Abba, for helping them to see themselves they way that You see them. Help them to stand certain that they are valued and valuable, so that they are able to, in full freedom, unleash the awesomeness they are on the world as You would have them do.

This we pray in the name of Your Son, Yeshua.

Amen.

"And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." ~ Matthew 10:30-31

"This is the Spirit He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by His grace, we would become heirs with the hope of eternal life. This saying is trustworthy. And I want you to emphasize these things, so that those who have believed God will take care to devote themselves to good deeds. These things are excellent and profitable for the people." ~ Titus 3:6-8

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." ~ 1 Peter 2:9

"You, little children, are from God and have overcome them, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." ~ 1 John 4:4

May the Good Lord bless you and keep you, friends... always, in all ways. Amen.

Bonus song of praise... (Kickin' it old school today. :) )

Sharables! ...and, hey, thanks for sharing.
