Seek out tranquility wherever you may... you never know where it may catch you unawares.
I hope and pray that peace and joy abound in your households.
I think, while it's important to be aware of the realities, it seems to me to be equally important to avoid steeping in it. That can be a challenge in the face of the various news sources and newsfeeds in our lives, thou it may be a worthwhile endeavor.
But, don't let me tell you what to do. As ever, we must all reach for and listen to the Still Small Voice.
Around here, we've been trying to laugh whenever possible, trying to adjust to this new temporary normal. Yesterday we ran into a little cabin fever, but today is a good day.
I think as much of the grace and mercy of Jesus as we can muster for one another is called for... of course when is it not?
Alas... I'm not saying anything you don't know anyway. :) Maybe I'm just reminding myself and hoping it helps someone else by accident.
"Because of the LORD'S loving devotion we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!" ~ Lamentations 3:22-23 (BSB)
"Keep alert. Be firm in your faith. Stay brave and strong. Show love in everything you do." ~ 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (CEV)
"Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." ~ Isaiah 41:10 (NASB)
"I know how to live humbly, and I know how to abound. I am accustomed to any and every situation - to being filled and being hungry, to having plenty and having need. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Nevertheless, you have done well to share in my affliction." ~ Philippians 4:12-14 (BSB)
Bonus praise song of encouragement... just because! :)
May God bless you and keep you, friend... always, in all ways.
