"Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.'"
~ John 8:12

God is the source and giver of all things.
He is the source and giver of light.
He is the source and giver of the Light of the world.

This year, there's a lovely convergence of holidays.
Advent began with the changing of the day, yesterday, the 28th of November. And, Chanukah began at sunset last night, also the 28th of November.
I don't know about you, but for me there's an expansion in my soul and being when God is so sweet as to provide a poetic intersection like that.
Do you feel it?
Maybe I'm crazy, who knows, but it touches me.
May you bask in the Light of the Light of the World, always, but especially this Advent and Christmas season.
May you be so filled, that it carries into and through the coming year.
May you overflow with joy and peace, such that it spills out on those around you.
I realize today is especially brief, but I feel the moment speaks for itself. And, I really just wanted to pray for you. So that's what I'm doing right this moment, from the depths of my heart...
Heavenly Father,
Thank YOU, for blessing the sweet soul reading these words.
May their connection to You be beyond words in love, peace, joy, and beauty.
May they know Your blessings each and every day of this life.
All these things we pray in the name of a Child... THE Child, lain in a manger, one long ago night.
Amen.
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call Him Immanuel." ~ Isaiah 7:14
"Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will fulfill the gracious promise that I have spoken to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. In those days and at that time I will cause to sprout for David a righteous Branch, and He will administer justice and righteousness in the land. In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely, and this is the name by which it will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness." ~ Jeremiah 33:14-16
"And there were shepherds residing in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. Just then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid! For behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord! And this will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.' And suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying: 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests!' When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, 'Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.' So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph and the Baby, who was lying in the manger. After they had seen the Child, they spread the message they had received about Him. And all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, which was just as the angel had told them." ~ Luke 2:8-20
May the Good Lord bless you and keep you, friends... always, in all ways. Amen.
Bonus song of praise... ♥
